I auditioned for a role in the first 'Thor' film: Jamie Dornan

Actor Jamie Dornan in an interview has revealed that he auditioned for the 2011 film 'Thor' which starred Chris Hemsworth. Jamie said, "I don't even think [director Kenneth Branagh] saw my tape, it was that bad." The actor further said that he was not auditioning for the role of Thor but for "one of his smaller buddies".
