I begged India cricketers to play T20 WC 2007, they called it stupid and refused: Lalit Modi

Ex-IPL Chairman Lalit Modi said he begged India cricketers during their tour of England in 2007 to take part in inaugural T20 World Cup. He claimed they refused and called T20 a "stupid game". "BCCI didn't even send main team to T20 World Cup 2007...They sent a second team...The Tendulkars, Dravids, Saurav Gangulys...None of them played it," he added.
