I cry in shower & put on a brave face at work: Meta employee on anxiety of getting laid off

As Meta began laying off 8,000 employees, staff is struggling with anxiety and constant fear of getting fired. In interview with The San Francisco Standard, an employee recalled checking their email every morning to decide whether it was worth commuting to work. "I tend to cry in the shower. At work, I put on a brave face," shared another employee.
