After announcing his retirement, England Test captain Ben Stokes said he realised he "didn't have any more fight left" in him following 1-4 Ashes defeat last winter. "The Lord's Test against New Zealand was something that brought back negative feelings about where I was in my career," he added. The 35-year-old added he felt he just burned himself out.
