I don't see tech firms displacing banks: Google exec

Diana Layfield, Vice President of Product Management at Google, has said she does not see technology firms displacing banks in the payments business. "We will have no interest in becoming a financial provider as we think banks do a terrific job at what they do," she added. Talking about competition, she said payments business environment is very nascent in India.
