I faced 40 'no's' trying to fund Amazon in 1995, investors asked 'What's the internet?': Bezos

Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos revealed that raising seed capital for Amazon in 1995 was the hardest thing he ever had to do. Speaking at the DealBook Summit, Bezos said he met with 60 potential investors and faced 40 'no's' while attempting to raise funding. "The first question [of investors] was, 'What's the internet?' Everybody wanted to know," Bezos added.
