I fought like hell to continue the event: Trump after gunshots at White House event

Addressing the media after being evacuated from White House event where gunshots were fired, US President Donald Trump said, "I fought like hell to continue the event." However, due to a larger threat to life, authorities announced that the event will be cancelled, he said. Trump added that the correspondents' dinner will be rescheduled and held with "better security".
