I gain nothing from ethanol policy: Nitin Gadkari on conflict of interest allegations

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari rejected allegations of conflict of interest regarding the Centre's ethanol-blending policy. "I gain nothing...My share in ethanol production is just 0.07%. With such a small stake, there's no question of any significant financial benefit," he stated. He said he champions alternative fuels and not just ethanol, but added, "Ethanol will benefit farmers."
