Elon Musk said he got a "little too involved in politics" during his time leading the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, a temporary department tasked with eliminating wasteful spending, under US President Donald Trump. "Got carried away, frankly," he said. Musk also dismissed reports linking DOGE cuts to children's deaths in Africa, calling the claims "false" and "nonsense".
