I heard $20 billion: Trump jokes as Essar's Ravi Ruia announces $18-billion plant

US President Donald Trump jokingly said he had heard $20 billion after Essar Group Co-founder Ravi Ruia announced an $18-billion investment to build a steel plant in the US. Trump called the project the "largest steel plant in American history". Essar's subsidiary Mesabi Metallics will build the plant in Iowa, with production expected to begin in 2030.
