Cierra Desmaratti, a 25-year-old actuarial analyst from Miami who was earning $90,000 (₹76 lakh) salary, said, "I couldn't be happier I was laid off from Deloitte." Cierra said, "I started working 11-hour shifts and immediately felt myself barrelling into burnout." She added, "I struggled with lack of oversight...everyone around me seemed to wear their burnout as a badge of honour."
