I'm not silent on J'khand: Rahul amid criticism for not seeking action against lathicharge

Rahul Gandhi has responded to criticism over why he has not sought any action against Congress ally, the JMM-led Jharkhand government, over the police lathi-charge against protesting students. "I'm not silent on Jharkhand...I had clearly said in my press conference...we do not appreciate any violence against our students," he stated. Several protesters sustained injuries during the lathi charge.
