I-PAC Co-founder Vinesh Chandel arrested in case linked to Bengal coal scam

Vinesh Chandel, political consulting firm I-PAC's Co-founder, has been arrested in a money-laundering case by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an alleged coal scam in West Bengal. The ED has said a "hawala" operator linked to a coal-smuggling ring had helped move crores to the firm that runs I-PAC. The move comes days before West Bengal Assembly polls.
