I requested Tesla, but their first choice was China: Gadkari

Talking about Tesla's decision to set up its first electric car factory outside the US in China, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has said, "I requested them... but their first point was China." Gadkari added that if Tesla is ready to come, India will offer it land. He highlighted that currently, Tesla doesn't have any proposal to come to India.
