Speaking about his daughter Khatija's decision to wear burqa, AR Rahman said, "More than the religious...I personally think it's a psychological thing." Stating his daughter is an introvert and was "spammed" by people after she had sung a song, he said after such a thing, "anybody would shut off". "I think, she finds her freedom (by wearing burqa)," Rahman added.
