I thought it was crap: Rooney on 1st-ever FIFA WC final halftime show

Former England captain Wayne Rooney criticised the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show during 2026 edition's final between Spain and Argentina. "My favourite bit of the halftime show was when it finished...I like a lot of [those] artists, but I thought it was crap," he said. The show featured performances by Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber and K-pop band BTS.
