Ahead of announcing his decision to step down as the CM of Maharashtra on Wednesday, Uddhav Thackeray said, "I urge Shiv Sainiks to remain calm and follow orders of the police." A new form of democracy will be born tomorrow, he added. Thackeray also announced his resignation from the Maharashtra Legislative Council.
