US President Donald Trump on Thursday tweeted, "I want 5G, and even 6G, technology in the United States as soon as possible." He added, "I want the United States to win through competition, not by blocking out...more advanced technologies." Last year, the US reportedly warned its allies of perceived cybersecurity risks from using Huawei-made components to build their 5G infrastructure.
