Indian-origin OpenAI whistleblower Suchir Balaji's father said that he was the "last person to talk to him". Suchir was found dead in his apartment in the US in November. "He was happy...not depressed or anything. And it was his birthday week," Suchir's father added. While the police have classified the death as a suicide, Suchir's mother claimed it was murder.
