Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde said that he worked as a common man, so people want him back as CM. He said, "I wasn't just the CM but the common man...I understood...pain suffered by the people and tried to address them." His remarks came as reports claimed that Devendra Fadnavis' name has been "finalised" for the post of Maharashtra CM.
