I worked harder, delayed vacations; none of it mattered: Laid-off Google employee

Ex-Google employee Jason Zhang claimed companies let people go anytime, calling it the "new normal". "I thought that if I just worked harder, put more hours in, delay that vacation, it’ll all be worth it. But...none of it really mattered," he added.
