IAF airlifts 85-yr-old paralysed woman amid heavy snow in Himachal

The Indian Air Force (IAF) undertook an urgent medical evacuation of an 85-year-old paralysed woman amid heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh's Dhanderwari, which blocked all roads. The woman was airlifted to Chandigarh in an IAF Cheetah helicopter, where she received timely medical assistance and is now stable. The IAF said the mission was carried out in low visibility.
