IAF chief Arup Raha flies Tejas fighter plane

Indian Air Force head, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha (61), on Tuesday flew the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas in Bengaluru. He flew the fighter plane for 30 minutes, becoming the first IAF chief to fly the home-grown fighter. "It is my first sortie in Tejas, it is a good aircraft for induction into IAF operations," Raha said after the flight.
