IAF makes historic highest-altitude landing at 13,629 ft near China border

The IAF's IL-76MD made history by landing at 13,629 feet, marking the highest-altitude landing ever achieved by the aircraft anywhere in the world. "A remarkable demonstration of the aircraft's enduring capability, backed by the exceptional skill, precision, and professionalism of its crew," IAF said about the landing at Nyoma in Ladakh. The base is 25 km away from China border.
