IAF's Garud Special Forces to get compact 'Micro UAV' system

The Indian Air Force's elite Garud Special Forces is set to get 'Micro UAV' system, as the government has started the process for procurement for the compact unmanned aerial vehicle system. The system is intended for "high-altitude surveillance" and will also be able to support day- and night-time surveillance, target acquisition and real-time situational awareness. It will be Indian-made.
