IAF seeks to buy 110 jets in largest fighter aircraft deal

The Defence Ministry has begun the process for procuring around 110 fighter jets for the Indian Air Force at an approximate cost of ₹97,000 crore, dubbed as the world's largest fighter aircraft deal. While 15% aircraft will be procured in a flyaway state, 85% aircraft will be made in India. 75% of the procured jets will have single seats.
