IAF to use Oman’s retired Jaguars for spares to keep fleet flying

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will receive over 20 retired Jaguar jets from Oman, which will be dismantled for spare parts. The IAF has six squadrons of the Jaguar, each comprising 18-20 warplanes. This transfer will help maintain existing Jaguar squadrons while the IAF transitions to newer jets like Rafale and Tejas.
