IAF's MiG-27 jet crashes near Pokhran during training, pilot safe

A MiG-27 aircraft airborne for a training mission from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan crashed around 6:10 PM on Tuesday near the Pokhran nuclear test range. The Indian Air Force pilot ejected safely, as per ANI. This comes after a pilot died when his Mirage 2000 fighter trainer aircraft crashed due to technical issues at the HAL Airport near Bengaluru on February 1.
