IAS-IPS couple purchases 40 villas from same company in 2.5 yrs in Raj; govt takes action

A controversy erupted in Rajasthan after IAS officer Shikhar Agarwal, his wife, IPS officer Prashakha Mathur, and their family purchased 20 villas and 20 cottages from the same company, Goel Fashions Private Limited, in areas such as Ajabgarh and Bujhda over the last 2.5 years. Taking cognisance of the matter, the Rajasthan government put Agarwal on APO (Awaiting Posting Order).
