An IAS officer and local panchayats revived Madhya Pradesh's 39.6-km Singri River through a ₹4.8-crore project, which was completed in four months. The initiative, led by Narsinghpur Zilla Panchayat CEO Gajendra Singh Nagesh, involved cleaning the river, stone-pitching its banks and installing filtration plants. The project has also helped aquatic life, including fish, return to the river.
