IAS officer Armstrong Pame built a 100-km road with Facebook

IAS officer Armstrong Pame raised over ₹40 lakh on Facebook to build a 100-km road in remote Manipur. Dubbed the 'People's Road,' the project connected more than 100 villages. Villagers donated labour, while contractors provided machinery. Completed around 2013-14, the road transformed access to healthcare, education and markets, becoming a remarkable example of community-driven infrastructure.
