IAS officer Ranu Sahu arrested in alleged coal levy scam in Chhattisgarh

IAS officer Ranu Sahu was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection to an alleged coal levy scam, wherein ₹25 was extorted for every tonne of coal transported into the state, officials said. A 2010-batch IAS officer, she was the collector of coal-rich areas like Korba and Raigarh before her current posting as director of the state agriculture department.
