IAS officer Sarada succeeds her husband V Venu as Kerala's Chief Secretary

IAS officer Sarada Muraleedharan succeeded her husband V Venu, both from the 1990 batch, as Chief Secretary of Kerala. CM Pinarayi Vijayan claimed that this is the first time a Chief Secretary is being succeeded by their spouse in Kerala. Sarada said she's anxious as she has to continue service for eight more months after Venu's retirement.
