IAS officer who took ₹10 lakh bribe gets new posting in Odisha's revenue dept

IAS officer Dhiman Chakma, who was arrested by vigilance last year for allegedly receiving ₹10 lakh bribe from a businessman and was later suspended, has been reinstated, reports said. He has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Odisha Revenue Department. Authorities also recovered ₹47 lakh in cash from his residence last year, reports claimed.
