IBAI seeks deadline extension on IRDAI distribution paper

The Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) has requested IRDAI to extend the October 25 feedback deadline on its insurance distribution consultation paper to December. IBAI raised concerns over proposed commission caps and EoM limit changes, warning that 10 lakh livelihoods could be at risk and that savings may not reach policyholders due to lower premiums.
