IBM, Salesforce shares fall after Starbucks' AI move

Software company stocks fell in premarket US trading after reports that Starbucks is developing its own AI-powered software instead of buying third-party tools. IBM, ServiceNow and Salesforce shares dropped between 3% and 4%. Starbucks is also building in-house alternatives to Microsoft's inventory management system and an IBM equipment maintenance tool, Bloomberg reported.
