IBM acquires Bengaluru-based startup Prescinto, amount undisclosed

Tech company IBM has acquired Bengaluru-based startup Prescinto for an undisclosed sum. Prescinto is an artificial intelligence-powered clean energy Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that helps increase production of power for solar power plants. The acquisition is expected to enhance the capabilities of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), the company's solution for asset lifecycle management.
