IBM CEO Arvind Krishna to take over as Chairman from January

IBM Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Arvind Krishna will take over as the Chairman of the company from January 1, replacing Executive Chairman, Ginni Rometty. Rometty, who stepped down as IBM's CEO earlier this year, will occasionally be asked to act as an independent contractor after her retirement, the company said. Arvind Krishna has been a part of IBM since 1990.
