IBM unveils AI that can debate with humans in real time

IBM on Monday unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI) system called 'Project Debater' which can debate with humans in real time. The AI can debate on 100 topics with a four-minute opening statement, a rebuttal and then a two-minute closing statement. Under development for six years, it has an internal repository of newspapers, journals, and other sources to draw arguments from.
