ICAI partners with Sarvam to develop LLM for CAs, improve audit quality

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has partnered with Bengaluru-based startup Sarvam to develop a large language model (LLM) for chartered accountants (CAs). This aims to improve the quality of audits, handling of financial compliance, and protection of sensitive financial data. ICAI is also exploring partnerships with OpenAI and Microsoft to strengthen AI training for members.
