The ICC has changed the format of 14-team ODI World Cup, introducing three rounds. Teams 12, 13 and 14 will contest a preliminary round, with one advancing. Twelve teams will then be split into two groups of six. Seven teams will qualify for the round-robin Super 7 stage, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals, followed by the final.
