ICE detains Indian man for sexually assaulting 13-year-old in US

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has detained an Indian national, identified as Vodela Yashaswi Kottapalli, for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old in New Jersey. ICE said Kottapalli is an undocumented immigrant in US and is pending removal proceedings under US immigration law. He is also accused of larceny linked to shoplifting and public disorder.
