ICE hit with lawsuit over lack of potable water at US detention centre
A federal class-action lawsuit was filed against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over conditions at the Adelanto ICE Processing Centre in California. The complaint alleged that detainees face inadequate, dirty, and foul-tasting drinking water. The plaintiffs said the population at the facility has increased from a few dozen to nearly 2,000 detainees in just a few weeks.
