Ice melting in Antarctica, driven by global warming, is affecting timekeeping the world over by slowing down Earth's rotating speed, a new research said. A second might need to be deducted from Coordinated Universal Time three years later than otherwise, the study, authored by Duncan Agnew, a geophysicist at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at University of California San Diego, found.
