Ice-cream that doesn't melt when exposed to fire raises food safety concerns in China

A luxury Chinese ice-cream brand has revealed that their products don't melt at high temperatures. When exposed to fire, the ice-cream appeared to burn instead, prompting both customers and local authorities to ask what's in the dessert. Although the company, Zhong Xue Gao, stated its products are in line with quality standards, an officer said the matter is being investigated.
