Iceland Minister Asthildur resigns after admitting she had baby with teen 30 yrs ago

Iceland's Minister of Education and Children's Affairs Ásthildur Lóa Þórsdóttir has resigned after admitting that she had a baby with a 16-year-old boy over 30 years ago. PM Kristrún Frostadóttir called the matter "serious". "I would definitely have dealt with these issues differently today," Þórsdóttir told local media. The baby's father has reportedly been identified as Eiríkur Ásmundsson.
