Iceland's President Johannesson re-elected with 92% of the vote

Iceland's President Gudni Johannesson has been re-elected with 92.2% of the 1,68,821 votes cast in the election, according to final results released on Sunday. "This result of this election is, to me, proof of the fact that my fellow Icelanders...have approved of how I have approached this office," Johannesson said. The turnout for the election was 66.9%, AFP reported.
