ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar may face a penalty of up to ₹1 crore for alleged violation of SEBI's disclosure norms regarding conflict of interest in her husband's business dealings with Videocon Group. Meanwhile, the bank may face a penalty of up to ₹25 crore for such lapses. The market regulator reportedly has no power to demand Kochhar's resignation.
