ICICI Bank nears HDFC Bank's top spot as m-cap gap hits 11-yr low

ICICI Bank is closing in on HDFC Bank to become India's most-valued bank, with the market-cap gap narrowing to ₹49,167 crore on Monday. The gap was the lowest since January 2015, when it stood at ₹44,568 crore. The narrowing was driven by HDFC Bank’s leadership friction and governance concerns following Chairman Atanu Chakraborty’s resignation in March.
