ICICI Bank overtakes Reliance to become 2nd-biggest Nifty 50 stock

ICICI Bank has overtaken Reliance Industries to become the second-largest stock in terms of weightage on the Nifty 50 index. Despite commanding the highest overall market capitalisation on the NSE, its free-float market capitalisation stands at around ₹8.52 lakh crore, while ICICI Bank, despite having a lower overall market capitalisation, has free-float market capitalisation of ₹9.05 lakh crore.
